Ms. Sandra Brown is the Assistant Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence (ADDNI) and the Deputy Director of the Naval Intelligence Activity (DDNIA) in the Information Warfare Directorate (N2N6) on the Chief Naval Operations Staff.  She assists the Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence in the development and dissemination of intelligence support for Navy senior leaders and oversight and management of Navy intelligence programs as well as assists the Director of the Naval Intelligence Activity with the daily management of the activity, an Echelon II organization. Ms. Brown has served as ADDNI and DDNIA since 2018. In 2020, she accepted additional duties as Director of the N2N6 Intelligence Division, an Echelon I organization. In this capacity, she serves as the resource sponsor for National and Military Naval Intelligence funds.

From May 2016 to February 2018, Ms. Brown served as the Deputy Director of the Telecommunications and Networks Research Group at the National Security Agency, where her team conducted classified and unclassified networking and computing research. Her mission focus was cyber security while she continued to support cognitive diversity in the field of scientific research.

Ms. Brown served in a senior leadership position as the Assistant Director for Technical Intelligence at the Office of Naval Intelligence. In this capacity, she initiated and led analytical deep dives on operational and emerging threat technologies with a focus on foreign underwater systems, including submarines, weapons, and autonomous underwater vehicles.

Ms. Brown earned degrees in mathematics, electrical engineering, and national resource strategy. In addition, she is an International Coaching Federation certified executive coach.
